NO OPEN FIRES OR FIRE RINGS ALLOWED BY BUNKHOUSES OR IN CAMPSITES. ALL FIRES MUST BE CONTAINED IN A TOTALLY ENCLOSED, RAISED, MOVABLE, FIREPLACE THAT IS TOTALLY ENCLOSED IN SCREEN MESH. EXAMPLE:COLEMAN PATIO FIREPLACES. MUST EMPTY ALL AHES IN THE BONFIRE PIT. NO GLASS OR METAL ALLOWED IN ASHES. THIS NEW RULING ON FIRES IS DUE TO THE CONTINUED PRACTICE OF MANY TEAMS AND INDIVIDUALS THROWING BOTTLES AND CANS IN THEIR FIRES DESPITE THE REPEATED ASKING BY MYSELF TO NOT DO SO. I AM TIRED OF HAVING TO RAKE UP BROKEN GLASS AND CANS AFTER EVERY EVENT OUT OF THE GRASS AND ASHES. PLAYERS NEED TO PATROL THEMSELVES AND ALL PITCH IN TO KEEP EMR A GREAT PLACE TO COME. KEEP IN MIND THAT NO-ONE SHOULD DO ANYTHING AT EMR WHILE CAMPING OR IN BUNKHOUSES THAT THEY WOULD NOT DO IN THEIR HOUSE OR OWN YARD. IT IS A SHAME THAT CERTAIN TEAMS AND INDIVIDUALS RUIN IT FOR EVERYONE. THAT FORCES ME TO MAKE AND ENFORCE MORE RULES TO FOLLOW! BLUE

JERSEY TITANS LEADING DEFENSE
EMR'S CASTLE CONQUEST XX OCT. 1
The JERSEY TITANS will be organizing and leading the defense of
CASTLE AAARRGH during CASTLE CONQUEST XX being held at E.M.R. PAINTBALL PARK
in New Milford, PA on October 1st. Teams DOTW, FERRYMEN, and GOBS will be
joining the TITANS and helping them to defend. Anyone that has not played
this incredible Paintball Game should come see what true PAINTBALL INSANITY
is all about.
With four to one odds of attackers to defenders over a 32,000 square
foot Castle makes for a game so intense, so crazy, so FUN that once players
have experienced it, they are hooked for life. There is no other Paintball
Game like Castle Conquest and no other attack and defend of this scale
anywhere in the US. That is mainly because there is no other Castle or Fort
of this size in paintball.
Castle AAARRGH has two story ramparts 8' deep completely surrounding a
courtyard full of buildings, towers, and barricades. It covers over an acre
of land and has four entrances at ground level and two gang ramps from the
back hill to the upper ramparts. This coupled with three story towers and
numerous passageways, doorways, and windows, provides a multitude of
scenarios within its walls.
The defenders have reinsertion every 10 minutes and the attackers
have reinsertion every 20 minutes. There are six objectives within the
walls that must be retrieved by the attackers to win the game. If the
attackers do not retrieve at least two objectives within 3 hours, then the
defenders win. Players will be shooting PMI's MARBALLIZER at this event so
paint quality is top notch. EMR's 16 fill whips insure that there are no
long lines at the air station.
EMR offers FREE LODGING and FREE CAMPING. Both of these are
reserved by preregistering. There is a swim pond, a fishing pond,
volleyball court, horseshoes pit, Rec. Center, and the ever popular BON FIRE
on Saturday night to sit around and tell your tales of heroism. There will
be more paintball playing on other fields after the CASTLE CONQUEST and also
night play Saturday Niight under the lights in TIPPMANN TOWN and CASTLE
AAARRGH. All of this for ONLY $25 if prepaid by 9/16/05. If you want to
also play on EMR's many other fields all day Sunday, the price is $40
prepaid by 9/16/05. Walk-ons are welcome but it costs an additional $10 at
the event. For more information on EMR and this event go to
www.EMRPAINTBALL.com or call (570) 465-9622.
We'll see you there. BLUE
PRESS
RELEASE
"DAY OF THE EL
CHUPATHINGY"
at EMR's PMI
EXTRAVAGANZA
|
Back Story:
Strange animal mutilations in and around the grounds of EMR have been
increasing over the past few weeks. Up until recently Blue and his staff had
not put any thought into it as it could just be wild animals, but then came
the noises. First there were infrequent strange inhuman yells and sounds in
the night, but once again Blue and his staff passed them off as animals in
the Pennsylvanian woods. As they grew more frequently and were heard during
the day, Blue, fearing for the safety of his clientele and his business,
hired a local tracker to spend the night and hunt whatever it was that was
causing this. The next morning, the tracker was nowhere to be found, but
Blue did find his camcorder and note pad. The camcorder had some mundane
audio notes by the tracker and some noises from the beast, but it was the
very end that was the most disturbing. This "something" attacked the tracker
and dragged him off into the wilderness.
Word has now gotten out, the Towns people are scared, they too have
been hearing the strange howls and their pets and livestock are starting to
disappear. They have formed up into a hunting party to eliminate the area of
their problem. Blue, being the businessman that he is offers a bounty on the
heads of these beasts. From the weeks of observing his problem, he has
determined that there is more than 1 beast here. It is a pack, not a normal
pack animal like wolves or coyotes. These beasts seem to be more organized.
Ultimately he wants them eliminated, but he knows he needs to eliminate the
source of the problem. His conundrum is how to find the source? His only
option is to try to capture some alive and see how they behave in captivity.
While the townspeople have started to amass on the grounds of EMR, a
new competitor on the field shows up, PMI. It appears that PMI has been
tracking the migration patterns of these beasts. Not only have they been
tracking where they are heading, but also where they came from, Mexico.
These beasts are the infamous "Chupacabra". PMI also knows something that
most others don't, and they would prefer to keep it that way; The Chupa's
drool make great paintball fill. It's thick, hard to wipe and bright. They
are happy to cut the heads off the Chupas and harvest the drool the hard
way. But if they can capture the Chupa's and breed them, then their
manufacturing costs will drop and they will become the most dominant
supplier in the paintball industry. They have dispatched their own Bounty
Hunter squad to capture these beasts.
Rules will be based upon the General Scenario Rules of Play found at
http://www.scenariopaintball.com/. There will be no Plot Sanctioned Spies.
The sides:
Townspeople - out to eliminate the Chupas for their own safety and for Blue.
PMI Bounty Hunters - out to eliminate the Chupas for their parts in order to
create a better paintball.
The Chupas - out to eliminate everything in order to survive. Played by home
team Pub Crawling http://www.pubcrawling.org/ and Friends.
General roles are currently available for the Bounty Hunters and for the
Townspeople. Please contact me at "P @ Pubcrawling.org" if you would like
either of these roles.
On the weekend of September 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th (Labor day weekend), EMR

STRATEGIC PAINTBALL leading ATTACKERS At EMR's CASTLE CONQUEST XX Oct. 1
|
New Milford, PA, June 20th, 2005 - StrategicPaintball.com would like to
announce their appointment to lead the attack on Castle AAARGH at Castle
Conquest XX to be held at E.M.R. Paintball Park on October 1st & 2nd.
Strategic Paintball will be accompanied in their leadership by their
sponsored team, Riot Squad.
Strategic Painball has been a leading online community for NY tri-state
area paintballers since it's inception last June. In March of 2005,
Strategic Paintball announced their first team sponsorship of Riot Squad.
Since Riot Squad formed from a group of Strategic Paintball members, it
seemed only natural for Strategic Paintball to offer their support. With
their combined leadership, they have every confidence that they will take
the castle.
Strategic Paintball and Riot Squad are forming alliances now with teams and
warriors from all over to help win back the castle. Among the teams on
board are Joint Fury, Delta Paintball Team, Fierce Allegiance and some of
the most hard-core scenario players from across the northeast. Anyone
wishing to join the alliance is encouraged to contact Shawn Watson
(Trauma@strategicpaintball.com) or Timothy Mongin
(whitney1@riotsquadpaitball.com) Defending will be "NEW JERSEY TITANS"
plus associated teams and friends.
The CASTLE CONQUEST pits a large group of attackers with a four to one
odds advantage against the valiant defenders of CASTLE AAARRGH (a 32,000
Square foot Castle with two story ramparts and three story towers, the
LARGEST CASTLE IN PAINTBALL). The defenders can reinsert every 10 minutes
while the attackers can reinsert every 20 minutes. There are six
objectives within the Castle walls and courtyard that must be seized and
removed by the attackers for them to win. For the defenders to be declared
the winners, they must keep control of at least five of the objectives for
three hours. If they lose two objectives, the game goes on until all six
are taken. Win or lose, the game is PURE PAINTBALL INSANITY and attracts
all types of players from Scenario Ball to Speedball players. This
promises to be the most exciting Conquest to date!
For more information call (570) 465-9622, e-mail emrpb@epix.net
or go to www.EMRPAINTBALL.com. As always, there is free lodging in EMR's
bunkhouses and free camping. Cost is only $25 for the Castle Conquest only
if prepaid by 9/23/05 or $40 for the whole weekend.

BLUE'S CREW Shooting EVIL PIMPS in 2005 |
BLUE and his Crew have decided their "weapon" of choice for the 2005
season with be the Evil Pimp made by PMI. After numerous guns were
brought in and put through the strenuous Blue's Crew testing at E.M.R.
Paintball Park by EVIL BOB (formerly Action Bob Lanstrum: Pro Player and
BLUE'S CREW Tech) the Pimp was the one that meets all of the standards
demanded by the Crew. " I'm excited about the switch, the Pimp's shoot
extremely fast, very straight, and can take the beating it will receive
from us paintball warriors" declared BLUE when asked about his exclusive
gun sponsorship with PMI. BLUE and DEUCE put the Evil Pimps through all
of their paces at the Viper Produced "Quest" Scenario Game at Paintball
Command in Mandeville, Louisiana last weekend and they performed most
excellently.
As of this season the Crew has welcomed PMI as one of
their primary sponsors. Not only are they shooting the Blue (of course)
Evil Pimp but they also will be shooting a custom Blue Marballizer
Paintball at all of EMR's and all of the "bring your own paint" events
that they attend. Blue's Crew and PMI look to be developing a long term
business relationship as well as a solid friendship. As everyone knows,
the Crew does not use equipment that isn't top of the line because their
aggressive, in your face, kind of play demands top line quality. The
Pimp's are the new talk of the Crew and all are excited about this new
venture for the 2005 season.
Blue's Crew has quite an elaborate schedule this year rounding out at
about 12 events around the country. Their play is unmatched as well as
their sportsmanship. If you know they are at an event just look for
their big blue compound and stop in and say hi. For more information
about the Pimp ask one of the Crew members at one of the games, or go to
www.EVIL-PAINTBALL.com. Also check out Blue's Crew and their schedule
at www.EMRPAINTBALL.com. You can also email us at EMR: emrpb@epix.net |

NEW FRONTIER WARS AT EMR CHANGED BACK TO ORIGINAL DATE 6/25/05
|
Due to numerous requests from our players, EMR is changing the date of their FRONTIER WARS back to the original dates of June 25th and 26th of this year. This brand new game on a brand new field at EMR PAINTBALL PARK in New Milford, PA promises to be a great event unlike any other big games in the east.
BLUE, Blue’s Crew and many of the hometeams have been working furiously to complete FORT BLUE’S CREW, which will be the biggest and most complete Western Style Stockade Fort in Paintball. It sports two story walls sectioned off into four full quandrants with the floors varying in width from 8’ to 16’ deep allowing a great amount of freedom in movement both below and on the second story. A 24’ Blockhouse located in the center of the fort’s parade ground will have a full second story with a third story tower in the center. 14 assorted Stores and Shops will be built into the walls and the parade ground will have numerous barricades throughout including horse troughs, wagons, and a (non-working) gallows.
On other parts of the field will be a miner’s camp complete with mineshaft and miner’s shacks, a Ranchhouse compound with mini-barn and out buildings, a Trapper’s Camp with furs and leantoos, a Mini Fort Outpost, and a friendly Native American Village. All of these additional compounds will be in play and hold strategic importance to both the Attacking Native Warriors lead by Team Iroquois Invasion who are trying to take back their Frontier and to the Settlers and Soldiers who are trying to defend what they have built. The odds of Native Warriors to the Settlers and Soldiers will be three to one as they try to hold their different outposts and the Main Fort itself against the onslaught of the fierce warriors.
For more information on EMR and FRONTIER WARS, go to www.EMRPAINTBALL.com, call (570) 465-9622, or e-mail to emrpb@epix.net. Don’t miss the Premier of the Hottest New Field and Event in Paintball.

He has long been a scout leader, volunteer fire fighter, and was instrumental in bringing many players into the sport, both young and old. John was always ready to pitch in both to help us at EMR or to help anyone that needed it and his bunkhouse was always open to welcome fellow players with a hot meal and a warm bunk to stay in. Cards and condolances can be sent to his brother Kenny and his Father John Luckanish Sr. at 2603 Bittersweet Drive, Timbers Developement, Wilmington, DE 19810. John, we love you and miss you.

EMR & PMI RAISE THE BAR WITH MARBALLIZER
|
E.M.R. PAINTBALL PARK has joined forces with PURSUIT MARKETING, INC. in raising the bar once again by bringing the players R.P. Scherer MARBALLIZER, a top quality paintball, for all of EMR’s Big Games, Scenario Games, and Tournaments. MARBALLIZER has long been known for it’s excellent quality, great shooting, and breaking on its targets. Knowing this, EMR and PMI have worked out a program where EMR will be using a custom color Marballizer for their field paint. Jeff Perlmutter of PMI and BLUE of EMR finalized the details on January 24th, and the rest will go down in paintball history.
BLUE, keeping with his Player Comes First attitude, has decided to keep the prices the same for 2004 for all cash sales. Cases of Marballizer will sell for only $75.50 with the cash discount or $80 as the normal price at EMR for all private groups and events. Prices are subject to PA 6% sales tax. All of the staff at both EMR and PMI are very excited about working together to produce the best events in the country and this is only the first step.
EMR will allow players to bring and use their old paint that was purchased at EMR in 2004 up to and including CASTLE CONQUEST XIX on April 30th. For more information on E.M.R. PAINTBALL PARK go to www.EMRPAINTBALL.com , call the CREW at (570) 465-9622, or e-mail BLUE at emrpb@epix.net.
