The year is 2044 and reality is hard for everyone. Everyone spends their time in the virtual reality utopia known as Arcadia. Kids go to school in Arcadia, adults can work from home in Arcadia, and pretty much any fictional world is available to explore in Arcadia. Jim Holliday, the creator of this wondrous world, has passed away and he has hidden clues in his virtual creation. Some even say Jim’s ghost wonders Arcadia. Follow the clues to find the hidden Egg and you will inherit his fortune and the company that runs Arcadia. Ion, the competitor to Arcadia, wants to win the ultimate prize and take over. So it’s the Gamers who love the VR world of Arcadia vs the corporate drones of Ion. The fate of Arcadia is at stake.
The game will include Missions, Props, Flag Stations, NPC’s (Non-player characters) and many other exciting elements! Get ready for the nerdfest that is “Arcadia Player One”!
After the Event Play is over for the day, you can kick back and ENJOY EMR’s OTHER AMENITIES such as Outdoor Volleyball, Horseshoes, Cornhole, Kan Jam, Bocce Balls, and the traditional Bon Fire plus Ping Pong, Beer Pong, Foosball, and Cards upstairs in our full Rec. Entry for this Exciting Weekend is Only $40 and BLUE’S CREW Custom VALKEN GRAFFITI Paintballs are only $65 per Case of 2000 and $20 per Bag of 500 if Pre-paid by 7/28/17 and includes the entire 3-Day Weekend of Paintball Excitement. Entry is FREE for all ACTIVE US & Canadian MILITARY if Pre-regged by 7/28/17. All Entries include choice of Unlimited CO2 & Compressed Air or the Standard Rental Package consisting of a TIPPMANN Semi-Auto Marker, Goggles, CO2 Bottle, and unlimited CO2. BUNKHOUSE Lodging costs $10 Per Person to stay in for the Entire Event and should be reserved in advance with Pre-Registration to guarantee a spot. To reserve Your Own Private Bunkhouse, you need to pre-register at least 15 players and pre-pay a $150 deposit, of which $50 will be refunded after being checked by an EMR employee for Damage, Graffiti, and Cleanliness before you depart. Deposits must be claimed before leaving the EMR Facility. If you have less than 15 players, you will be assigned to a bunkhouse and may have to share it with other players. Walk-on players are not guaranteed spots in bunkhouses or campsites.
Each Bunkhouse is 15’ x 30’ with 8’ high ceilings and they have twenty-one 32” x 81” Wooden Bunks that are stacked three high along the walls. There are two windows for ventilation and lights in the ceiling. Most of them have one electrical outlet that is Strictly for charging Phones, Batteries, or running Sleep Machines. No Electric Fans, Coffee Makers, Heaters, etc. are allowed. We recommend bringing Sleeping Bags, Pillows, and Air Mattresses/Sleeping Pad for your stay and if it is cold, a Propane or Kerosene Indoor Heater. No Fires are allowed within 10’ of any Bunkhouse and must be contained in a Raised, Completely Covered Fire-Pit sitting Only On Dirt or Stone, not a deck.
CAMPSITES for Tents and Campers are 20’ x 20’ and Cost $5 Per Campsite for the Entire Event, however you must Reserve Them with a $20 Refundable Security Deposit. More than one site may be reserved under the $20 Deposit, however there must be at least two players camping per site.
RV SITES are 20’ x 40’ and Cost $10 Per Site, however you must Reserve Them with a $20 Refundable Security Deposit and there are no water or electric hook-ups for the RVs. You must notify us if you wish to run a Generator past midnight and you will be assigned a spot apart from the Campgrounds.
The Security Deposits will be refunded if there is no damage to the CAMP/RV Site and it is Clean with no Trash, Metal, or Glass left on the site including the Fire Ring. Deposits must be claimed before leaving the EMR Facility. All Fires must be contained within a Fire Ring. There are several Fire Rings at the Campsites and are on a first grab, first get basis, so you might want to bring your own. Firewood and Ice are sold in the EMR Store.
There is running water with Hoses at various locations throughout the Event Park, a Triple Sink by the Picnic Pavilion, Equipment Cleaning Station, Water Mister for Cooling Off, Four Cold Water Showers for Rinsing Off, and Porta-Johns for Toilets.
Any Teams or Groups of Players that would like to Rent Their Own Porta-John for the Weekend, can reserve it by calling Yvonne at Suburban Septic at (888) 775-3693 or (607) 775-3693. You should bring your own padlock if you wish to lock it.
For Hot Showers there is a Flying J Truck Stop one exit below our exit on Rt. 81 that offers Shower Facilities and a Dinner Buffet.
Players are welcome to arrive anytime on Friday 8/11/17 and stay through Sunday,8/13/17.
NO DOGS ALLOWED ON EMR FACILITY due to Insurance Regulations!
Only Semi-Auto and Pump Markers are allowed and NO Full-Auto, Turbo, or Multi-Round Burst Modes permitted. All Markers must be chronoed at 275 FPS or lower and set at a Maximum of 12 balls per Second. Mortars can be used that shoot only paintballs, but must be fired at a 45 degree angle or higher and with a ref present. No equipment is allowed that fires a projectile, grenade, or balloon. No LAWS or Hand Cannons allowed that can fire more than one paintball at a time directly at a player. Hand Thrown Paint Grenades are allowed but recommend using colors other than Blue as Splatter does not count from paintballs. ONLY SPORT SMOKE is allowed to be used at EMR and cannot be thrown inside or within 20’ of the Castle Walls.
Minimum age required to participate in this Event is 10 years old. 10 and 11 year olds must have an adult of 18 years old or older accompanying them on the Event Field. All players under 18 years old must have a Liability Waiver/Medical Release completely filled out and signed by a Parent to Participate.
EMR’s own Jason Schwab will be there with SMOKIN J BBQ, which offers a delicious variety of Fantastic Smoked Food for Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. There is also a large variety of Premade Foods in the Store such as Hot Pockets, Corn Dogs, Chimichangas, etc. plus an assortment of Snacks, Candy Bars, Soda, Energy Drinks, Water, and Gatorade. You may also bring your own food and grills to prepare food or go to one of the many restaurants and fast food places within 10 miles of EMR.

Game FPS is 275 fps. No Dead Man Walks are allowed in this game. No assassins allowed to be used on the other team. No directly shooting through a crack or opening in the walls less than 4” wide unless you are at least 5’ from the opening. Splatter does not count by paintballs. Grenade hits must amount to more than an accumulation of a quarter coin size. ONLY SPORT SMOKE is allowed to be used at EMR and cannot be thrown inside or within 20’ of the Castle Walls.
There will be a Prize Drawing and Awards Ceremony at 2:30 pm at the stage on Sunday. Prizes are from the GAME OF BONES and EMR sponsors. Tickets will be passed out to all Participants that show an Event ID Tag for the drawing starting 30 minutes prior to the Giveaway.

GAME RULES TO COME
Launchers must be chronographed to 220FPS or less. Only commercially produced and sold launchers and rockets are allowed. NO HOMEMADE LAUNCHERS. Launchers can ONLY BE used to destroy Tanks. Firing launchers directly at players is forbidden. In order to bring a launcher onto the field, a player must posses a weapons specialist card given to him or her by their General. Weapons specialists will have limited ammo to work with.
It is required that Players display surveyors tape on their masks to designate what team they are on. Each team’s command staff will have tape on both arms to designate command authority. Medics will have a White Arm Band. Third party characters will have Blue Arm Bands. All Players must have their ID Tags on them that shows which side they play on.
Per EMR standard rules, markers must be chronographed at 275 FPS or less. During night play this limit will drop to 250FPS. Only Semi-Auto Mode Allowed.
Players are allowed to use radios on the field and in their CP as long as they are live. Standing off field to watch and report on hostile insertions is NOT allowed and will result in a points penalty if caught. Players are allowed to monitor all active radio channels.
Player use of smoke is allowed during the day, However ONLY SPORT SMOKE may be used, no other brands.
There are NO spies. HOWEVER, interacting with the right NPC may prove helpful.
Barrel tags are allowed, however the barrel must be attached to a marker. A gentle tap is sufficient. Do not touch another player’s head or neck, and do not be forceful. Upon making contact, you must say “barrel tag”. A player who gets barrel tagged is eliminated instantly. Dead men DO NOT talk. Medics cannot heal barrel tags.
The CP for each team will be located immediately off the field, behind the netting. Command staff are considered live while in the CP and may use radios at will. Upon mission completion, props must be returned to the CP for points.
DEAD MAN WALKS
Dead man Walks are not allowed in this game.
Standard EMR rules apply. Any paintball hit on the player or his equipment that breaks is considered an elimination. During night play, ALL hits count; breaks AND bounces.
Useable during daylight play only and must be either Orange, Pink, or Green Paint. No Blue Paint Fills. Accumulation from one grenade hit amounting to the size of a quarter counts as an elimination. Subject to a refs discretion.
Referees on the field will be clearly marked with Ref jerseys. Referees have the final say regarding all on-field calls. If you disagree with a call made by the referee, you may address it at Mission Control. Each team’s Command Staff will be given one on-field Command Ref. They will need this referee with them to use any of their Command abilities.
Base insertions are open for five minutes every fifteen (I.E Window is open from 12:00-12:05, 12:15-12:20). If the opposing team boxes in a base insertion point so that players cannot get out of their insertion area for a period of ten minutes, the opposing players will be moved back 200 feet from the insertion point. If after an additional 10 minutes, the inserting players still cannot move out of their area, the opposing players will be moves back another 100’ from the insertion point.
Both teams will fight over the same control points and mission objectives during night play. Grenades, tanks, and launchers are not allowed. All hits, including bounces, count. Smoke and Pyro are not allowed except by the game producer. Glowsticks are not allowed, except by the referees. Player lighting equipment (flashlights, nightvision, floodlights, etc) is allowed; if it is hit while you are carrying it, you are eliminated!
At regular intervals, once an hour on the :30, missions will be relayed to the command staff or a player designated by them at the CP. If specified in the instructions, the paperwork must be present at the turn-in location for the mission to be worth points.
Interacting with the NPC’s will allow players to obtain additional missions beyond their standard CP missions.
Rules to be Announced!.
Able to carry launchers on field. Launchers can only destroy tanks.
Various forms of currency are scattered across the field. They can be used to barter with some of the NPC’s. Currency can be kept in the CP once acquired. If you are eliminated while carrying currency, you MUST drop it on the spot.
Various props will be found across the battlefield. Once found, props may be returned to your CP for turn-in and safekeeping. Occasionally, you may encounter mission props clearly marked with the other team’s tape. You may NOT touch, move, hide, or otherwise obscure or abscond with these props. You are allowed to defend them from the other team once located. If you are eliminated while carrying a prop, you MUST drop it on the spot.
COMMAND STAFF ARSENAL:
Each team will be allowed one tank. In order to be allowed on the field, the tank must have insurance listing EMR Paintball as an insured party and the pilot must have a current driver’s license. Tanks must possess a flag post to identify what team they are playing for and whether they are eliminated. Tanks are limited to 5mph speed and are unable to enter the speedball field. Tanks must be fueled at the CP to enter the battlefield and can be eliminated by a direct rocket strike. Direct grenade hits will immobilize the tank for 2 minutes. Tanks cannot come closer than 250ft from the enemy CP. All tanks must be cleared with the field one month prior to the game or they will not be allowed on the field. Markers fired from the tank must be chronoed at 250fps. Tanks may carry their own launchers, but tank launchers do count against the total allowed for each team. Each tank must provide one adult ref to follow the tank and communicate hits, obstructions, and nearby player locations in the interest of safety. This person is NOT a player and may not participate as one (No calling out targets, etc). Tanks may be used as cover and it is the tank ref’s responsibility to keep players a reasonable distance away from the tank during movement to prevent injury. Tanks may not participate in night play.
EMR PLAYING RULES
A Player is marked out if a paintball hits any part of his body or equipment and breaks. He is also out if in the process of moving a barrel and the barrel is hit by a paintball that breaks. Grenade hits can mark out a player if there is an accumulation of paint that would cover a spot the size of a 50 cent piece in any color other than Blue, subject to a Ref’s Call. SPLATTER DOES NOT COUNT, no matter how much there is from paintballs, subject to a Refs Call. When hit, immediately yell OUT, put your Barrel Cover on your Barrel, raise your barrel in the air, and quickly make your way off the field. If you need help, call for a Ref.
NO PHYSICAL CONTACT AT ALL OR THE PLAYER WILL BE EJECTED FROM THE PREMISES AND POSSIBLY CHARGED WITH ASSAULT! NO SHOOTING UPWARD OR DOWNWARD THROUGH THE CRACKS IN THE FLOORBOARDS IN THE CASTLE!!! NO SHOOTING WITHIN 2’ DIRECTLY THROUGH ANY OPENING IN THE CASTLE WALLS THAT IS LESS THAN 4”’! NO BLIND FIRING!!
ONLY EMR’s CUSTOM BLUE PAINTBALLS FROM VALKEN ARE ALLOWED AT THIS EVENT! ANY PLAYERS CAUGHT WITH OFF FIELD PAINT WILL BE EJECTED IMMEDIATELY FROM THE GAME!
THREE PUNCHES ON YOUR I.D. TAG AND YOU ARE OUT OF THE GAME. Your wristband will be taken as well as your I.D. Tag. I.D. Tag Punches will be given for Unsportsmanlike Conduct, Shooting a marker over 275 fps, Overshooting, Acting in an Unsafe Manner or Endangering Others, Blind Shooting, Intentionally Shooting a Ref and failure to follow any of EMR’s rules. A player will receive two punches if they remove their mask, attempt to remove their mask, or attempt to lift their mask. We take safety and fair play very seriously. Make this a great game for all involved and be safe and courteous to all.
